Hello. This is my first time posting here. I feel I could post in a few subforums but the reason I registered fits better here. I recently started therapy concerning a trauma which I wasn't sure of its origin, I was able to talk about with anyone, and that brings about avoidance behaviours in my daily life. The second session I was able to verbalise my trauma in a general way (I have foun d it up until now impossible to talk about to family or friends) and the therapist immediately asked about my own birth. I was told it was a very traumatic birth that nowadays would have been a c-section. To me now it seems very logical that my trauma stems from this, but, it is even possible to process a trauma that happened on day 0? Can anyone relate to this, or have any similar experience?
