Hey guys. I have bad PTSD but also bipolar 1. Both can cause psychosis in me, no question. I was just wondering how often other people dealing with post-traumatic stress actually deal with psychosis. Thanks for the feedback!!!!1

60 views and not a single remark. That is weird. Maybe I am the only one who deals with this.

My friend is a therapist and believes that I suffer from PTSD, but of course cannot officially diagnose me with anything. I actually had a conversation with him that after my mother past that I felt as if I was going “crazy.” I didn’t trust people. Thought they were out to get me. Had bizarre thoughts. I still struggle somewhat daily, but am finding my own way to cope.
I did mention to him that it honestly does not surprise me that those with anxiety disorders, including PTSD, could exhibit symptoms of psychosis. He said that with everything going on the suspicion of others and feeling as if people are out to get me might be an exaggeration of the PTSD. |
