I noticed I cannot handle listening to any movies with people (or animals) screaming in distress. Like stupid action movies or horror movies, also. I used to enjoy horror movies. Any type of screaming in pain totally bothers me, now. This started when I became sober from alcohol, too. When all my mental issues come to the surface, crystal clear again. Not veiled anymore from alcoholism. So screaming is out, now. That mess puts me right on edge. No thanks.

I’m sorry that you are experiencing difficulties with this. Sometimes trauma just seems to suck the life away from us.
Thanks for this!

I'm sorry you're having this. Oddly, at times I can't have those sounds at all and others I crank industrial where there's A LOT if screaming as if in pain. Dunno
Thanks for this!
