this friday will be the first held PTSD chat held by myself (at the moment). i hope it will offer help and hope. i want to keep it less triggering, especially for the first group and i believe discussing our day to day struggles will be a good topic.
if you're interested, it will be held at 8 o'clock (est.).

I don't know what to expect in a chat group. I belong to few social groups here at PC. Is a chat group like a social group? I think ptsd inhibits me a lot & it would be nice to talk with other people in the same boat.

it will be held in the chatrooms which you may find under community at the top of the page. it's instant interaction which is something i personally enjoy about the experience. what i hope to come out of it is for people with PTSD to feel less alone, which is so common for those of us who endure it. it will be a support group-like chat. i hope you can be there.
