I hate how much the nights cause me the most stress.

The flashbacks have been a little less, but the nightmares, taking in my sleep and waking up screaming or terrified have become consistent.

Is there anything that helps with the night terrors?

I'm so exhausted by reliving my trauma over again. There are lots of moments of confusion with them because they don't make sense and it im afraid of what I don't remember.. I want to know, but also I'm scared of what I'll find out.

After a frequent occurrence of them I usually end up in a really low depression for a while, days or weeks.
Sometimes I feel like there's no light at the end of this tunnel, just forever darkness.

I am sorry you are experiencing this. I can experience a bad nite if I get triggered enough. I know what you mean when you describe waking up depressed and tired. Are you working with a therapist right now? Sometimes that can stir things up and cause a person to try to process while sleeping. The brain can tangle things up trying to figure out where to file things. It can be confusing and stressful which may require more therapy. Patience is very important when going through this. It takes time to sort out whatever is causing you to experience this.

Thank you for your compassion, I am working with a therapist, I think I need to talk more about it, I'm not ready to face alot of the trauma I went through, or the effects of talking through it.

thank you
