A tik tok content moderator is suing over the horrific content he/she was made to watch in order to prevent it from making it on to the platform and viewed by millions of people.
Possible trigger:
Would any of you ever do this job ? Do you think it was probably explained that it would have been part of the job? Do you think tik tok and other platforms should come up with a better way to deal with content like this? We all know their algorithms suck and they have to have a human in order to avoid banning content that could be flagged as inappropriate but is actually not really inappropriate? I know there is a raging debate now over sex porn stars posting pics that are semi bude or erotic yet banned but celebrities like Niki Minage can pose nude. And those pages are often just deleted with no human oversight. I’m just interested in a discussion and opinions.
