This is one of the three books I found to be very helpful to my healing journey.

The other two are:

C-PTSD: From Surviving To Thriving
Pete Walker

Trauma & Recovery
Judith Lewis Herman

Of all the abuse I endured for the first 33.5 years of my life (sexual, physical, verbal & emotional) ...

The long-term impact of the verbal & emotional abuse has been the most difficult to overcome.

This year, I am celebrating my 30th Anniversary of escaping that little house of horrors I grew up in.

I'm still in therapy, and the last 10 years have been the most productive.

It took years to find one, but the therapist I see now is an expert in long-term trauma and abuse.

We've made more progress in the last 10 years than I ever did in the first 20.

Don't give up, y'all ...

The process is arduous, but it's well worth the journey ...

I am currently reading this book
