My T says talking about it is what helps. The more you talk about it, the less control it has over you. I have been with her for 9 months (twice a week) and we have just started to look at the tip of the iceberg of my trauma. It’s extremely hard work. But I absolutely believe her when she says it’s worth it.

Thank you. I'm in therapy and I talked a little bit about it and some things have gotten better.
