Why would people with mental illness purposely BULLY someone else who suffers from it as well?
They must know how people (especially with PTSD) will react to feeling cornered, threatened, and belittled. Why are people so mean? Are they angry and bitter about the way their lives turned out? Do bullies think they are entitled to treat others poorly? Does bullying others make them feel smarter? More powerful? Maybe it's misdirected anger. I hate to see my friends hurting because of people that bully. I hope my friends know it says more about what's going on in the bullies lives (or lack of) and that it's NOT a reflection on them, although the bullies will always try to deflect that responsibility back on them. |

((( Orange )))
It's sad that there are bullies like that, as I've met first hand Maybe it's because, especially if they have PTSD, they know what it's like to feel powerless and crave the power they never had and the control they ever had, and to gain that, they turn on other people. It's sad that people who should understand what it feels like would take the wrong path and turn into a bully instead of treating others with kindness. And while maybe they think they have a 'reason' for bullying, it's important not to excuse them- they're in the wrong, and the victim of the bullying is not at fault. Just my two cents. |

In all my life I have never had a friend like you Bullying is bullying no matter what It hurts "Why are people so mean? Are they angry and bitter about the way their lives turned out" I have no answer for that... Everyone should be respected in a perfect world.... Everyone has the right to be free Everyone has the right to not be hurt no one should ever be bullyed. not one single person.... It harms...and hurts,, You are such a good person.*tears* ((((((((((((((((orange)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) |

ive posted this link in a few other places around PC, want to make sure everyone has a chance to see it... bullying comes in many forms.. some will attempt to befriend us and then do a 'switch' after they have us drawn in... the best thing is always to know your own true heart and choose friends carefully... with the invention of the internet, these bullying groups are allowed to proliferate... best healing wishes to all...

Bullies that pretend to be your friend are the worst of the bunch in my opinion...I had that happen to me once, on top of all the other bullying,
People who are only pretending to be nice to you so they can backstab you in the end, or for their own gain still tick me off with their colorful plastic smiles ang giggly bubbles hiding, the look in their eyes that could only be described as the joy and excitement a cat must feel just before it catches it's mouse. The vibe they give off is toatally different from a normal person who wants to be friends... I spent the next year or two very paranoid, lonely and generaly angry at the world until I found some real friends. |

" it says more about what's going on in the bullies lives (or lack of) and that it's NOT a reflection on them, although the bullies will always try to deflect that responsibility back on them. "
I agree with that. Even by trying to stand my ground I will lose anyway and even be more hurt so I might as well simply walk away. I don't know why some people bully others. Maybe because they feel they are holding a power of some kind. Maybe it makes them happy because they don't know what happiness is. Maybe a lot of things. (((((((((((Orange and friends))))))))))))))))) Wish I could help you more. |

(((((((((((((( To all who have been bullied)))))))))))))
This action is a sign of weakness in the person who is doing it. They do it to get gratification for the control they THINK they have over others. Their family , and friends ( if they have any)dont care to be around them because of their manipulations, so they find people to do this to get reactions . They dont care if they are hurting anyone or not. They dont care how far they go to hurt. They just dont care about anyone but themselves. I refuse to be around people like that or let them into my life anymore. They bring nothing but negativity to us. And we who have been bullied DO NOT have to put up with it. I just plain and simple will not talk to anyone who treats me in such a disrespectful way. None of us deserve that kind of treatment!! Find the strength deep inside you and stand up for yourselves! Its a liberating feeling . Doesnt mean you dont care or cant care about people. Its just a way of setting up a boundary that we all need to do at times. And its OK to do that! I don't think we'll ever truly be able free ourselves of bullies. I wish we could though.

what happens sometimes is that these 'multi attackers' will join in and before long there is a 'pack attack' ... i know the kind members here would never join in that kind of behavior, just wanted to keep us aware of these possibilities

i gotta answer all three ((Jinn )) i have known many a bully
but i have also known many a great person. PPL full of kindness and peace and love who have taught me so much. Those were the ones i chose to follow thier paths so to speak. I felt like they were sent as teachers to show me how kind the world could be at times. The bullys did I attract them? I think that was thier choice..... I would hate to think I did anything to cause it. In my heart I know it was their choice not mine............... (((nowheretorun)))))) i do know that to be true. where they join up being aware is good... I am you are right about not here..... I did watch it play out on another web site before. A person brought in thier friends.... it was not pleasant at all they were female and males it did not matter ...... I left that site |
