Ugh. We found a cat that crawled under our car to die. I went round asking if anyone knew who's cat it was but nobody knew where it came from. Some people asked if I'd run it over! No, it just decided it was a good place to die! I hope you can find someone to move the cat and bury it for you.

My husband did for me. I was totally freaked out and he took care of it. I walk that trail daily.

Thunderbear.......

I know coming across those kind of things on a trail are grose. I know many times here, the cayotes are around my woods. Haven't heard them as much now as during the ice storm when they were howling at my back door.......or sometimes the ferel cats will die of old age or illness. It's hard to find a place to burry animals around where I live because of the rock in the ground.......Animal control can sometimes come out to pick up the animal before the turkey vultures show up. Those birds are thick around my woods & the area....mostly finding the animals (skunks, raccoons, squirrels) that have been hit on the road.

I know it's nature taking care of itself, but it's not something this city person is quite ready to see first hand without feeling so horrible for the critters that have lost their lives without me to protect them.

Hope you will be able to get through the nightmares/dreams. Our deams always seem to make a situation worse than it really is.

Take care,
Debbie

Im sorry you saw that - it would have triggered me too

Im glad your husband buried it for you - maybe you could put a flower there and release the picture in your mind that way
