My personal opinion is that it may have been a bit of a harsh score-116.
However, the depression I have been feeling since the first of the year has gotten worse, with episodes being closer together. Almost a constant heartache or saddness or grief. I have lost intrest in things that use to be important to me, like work and my university studies. Upon recognizing this and being tired of all the constant worry and saddness, I went to the doctor. My EEG was normal and the heart monitor I wore for a weekend (due to palpitations) was normal. I was started on Celexa (?). Will return to the doctor in 4 weeks. |

Why is it harsh?
Remember, do NOT take these tests seriously, they are not a diagnostic test done by a professional. |

I have been in denial about. I thought at first, everyone felt like this all the time. Then I took it as a sign of weakness...like I was suppose to "tough it out", as my dad use to say. No way. Not for me. It has been horrid the last few months. I am so happy I went to the doctor and had a complete physical (EEG and Heart monitor). I have started medication and just knowing that makes me feel better. |

I am continuing on the medications as perscribed. My score was 99 today and the "mood Tracker" looks better. Wow, these tools are great. I am hoping that as the blood level of medication continues to level out, I will become more and more stable.
This has become an excellent way for me to look at a score of 119 3 days ago...go to my appointment book and ask myself "What was going on today"? Helps me help myself a lot. |
