Hello world!
I'm new in this forum and i just had my sanity test.
My result is 129, and general coping, self esteem, eating disorders, mania &bipolar disorder, relationship issues, OCD and borderline traits were considered as "serious concerns".
Depression, anxiety, phobias schizophrenia, dissociation, alcohol issues and PTSD were considered as "milder concerns". (I don't have neither alcohol issues or PTSD by the way).
Well, i wanted some comments on my results or somethin', what was your score?
Just some info about the sanity test maybe?

xxx

When I first registered here (I was dx'd with depression, and about to be dx'd with bipolar at that stage) I was 145. I was battling with depression.

Now I took the test earlier on today, and I'm a 95 (Mania from Bipolar is coming through!)
129 would indicate that it is a good idea to go and see a mental health professional if you aren't already. A therapist (T) would be a good starting point, or a school counsellor - if you're still in school.

An online test cannot be 100% accurate and just gives some guidelines which you can then further explore with a professional.

In the mean-time : Hello and welcome. If there are any questions, feel free to drop me a PM, or have a look at the various forums here

My first test scores back in February was 156 or something like that. I am now at a 21. Take the major areas that were defined and look into each of them and see what you can do to overcome them. Also talk to your pdoc (if you have one) about the quiz and it's results.

i have found that the "Sanity Test" , is more an assessment of your levels of functioning, as you perceive them. as you gain skills and confidence, your scores go down... PC offers some very helpful Hosted Chats to help members acquire and practice skills for various concerns. when you have 5 posts, you can come into the live chats, and attend the Hosted chats,, check the calendar on your profile page to see when and which topics might be right for you. best wishes,,, Gus
