Would dissociation possibly be the reason I've been having trouble remembering things I normally should remember, such as things I said a day earlier or even a half hour earlier? I always attributed it to bad memory, but this seems to make more sense, because it seems too often to be memory.

Hi jmartin21,

I was reading a paper on the psychological effects of trauma on memory. Here is the link to it: http://www.lawandpsychiatry.com/html/hippocampus.htm

I hope that you find it helpful.

Sincerely,
Carole
