I received a score of 147 with 10 areas of specific concern. I am not sure if I am supposed to take this quiz more than once but I don't think the score will change much anyway. The biggest area of worry is post traumatic stress and then comes dissociation and self esteem tied for second. I don't know how to feel about the results except that they are pretty accurate. I an glad I know what areas to work on now when I do find a therapist and I can show the results to my shrink so he has an idea of what we are working with. This thing has been so hard to get a handle on that I have almost given up but my shrink always assures me he will find a way to help me so I keep trying, I also keep trying for my family because they have never given up on me.

Welcome to PC, becca. Hang in there; doing this work and facing our issues is incredibly daunting work. But I believe that over time the results of that quiz will change, because you yourself will be changing. I have been struggling a lot lately myself again (I too live with PTSD, dissociative disorder, panic disorder, low self esteem) and I've gone in and out of that hopeless feeling. When it gets its worst and I feel like I have nowhere to turn, if I have no access to anyone here, I post on one of the forums here. I have found everyone to be very supportive and have received useful advice on several occasions.

Good luck with everything and I hope to see you around the forums.
