I knew I was overweight....my doctor tells me I'm healthy weight and everyone tells me that I'm not fat and I knew they were lying. I wish people could be friggin honest and just say "hey, your're overweight. Do something about it." Ayi yai yai

I used to be in the army. When we started the Weight Control Program there was this girl in my unit that according to the height weight chart she needed to lose weight or get kicked out of the army but, she went to the doctor and was told she was at a healthy weight. She was just big boned and had muscle. muscle weights more than fat. She got a waiver and was not forced to diet. yeah.

My understanding is that the BMI is just one measurement of appropriate weight. People can score higher on it and still be an acceptable weight......

I'm considered obese apparently when clearly I'm just moderately overweight. It's not like I sit around eating all day.....wait, yes I do, never mind.
So your only concern was the BMI? Hmm. But it's true... Muscle weighs more than fat, and besides... Weight is dependant on a lot more than a BMI, right? Are you healthy? |

Do you think your concern for your weight is affecting other aspects of your mental health? Don't take that the wrong way, just, you said it bothered you the most out of your score on the quiz... So I was just curious if maybe that's why it was such a high result... Personally I go off the charts in various aspects if my weight is even slightly an issue.
