I am happy with my score. But don't understand why I got so high in Borderline and life events. Only life events are a recent break up and loss of friends, but it didn't have THAT bad an affect on me.

Well - breaking up with someone can result in a person feeling unhappy, about the loss of the girlfriend/boyfriend and the other friends too. That's fortunate that it didn't have such a bad effect on you. It takes a bit of time to get over it. But when you get involved with other things and other people, then you move on.
