Based upon your answers, you appear to be in generally good mental health, with some specific concerns or issues in your life. Most people have such issues to varying degrees -- some seek outside help for them from a mental health professional like a psychologist, psychiatrist or psychotherapist, while others are happy with the way things are in their life. People with similar scores sometimes feel overwhelmed by the occasional stress in life, but usually recover and are fairly resilient.

(The Sanity Score is based upon a scientific algorithm with scores ranging from 0 - 288.)

Your specific subscores are below (subscales range from 0 - 100). Under the graph of subscores, you will find additional information regarding the meaning of any significant scores or areas that may be of concern.

That's not too bad, I guess...PTSD score is higher than it probably normally would be, but otherwise it seems about right. I'm not sure what "life events" or "borderline traits" are, though. 51

I think those high scores could come "from" the PTSD??

Thanks, Sky. 51 You're probably right, and the PTSD seems to be calming down a bit now, which is a relief. The last few days weren't much fun. 51

Do you know what "life events" means? I guess "borderline traits" is probably something to do with BPD, right?

I think I got a 47 with "life events" highest. Life events are like death, divorce, marriage, graduating from school and having to find a job :-) the "usual" 51 The big events in your life, good or bad, that have influenced you.

51 But with PTSD, those types of events are always BIG! 51

I also scored up a bit on those borderline traits..and I'm pretty sure it has to do with the dissociative factor of PTSD... the coping/ escape from the stress, etc?

Based upon your answers, you appear to be in good mental health. Congratulations! You may experience specific mental health concerns, relationship issues, or other issues that come up from time to time in your life, but your overall mental health score suggests that you deal with these well. People with similar scores are more resilient than most people, handle stress appropriately, have good relationships with others, and are able to cope with the in's and out's of everyday life with grace and ease.

I wasn't expecting that! 51 Maybe I'm saner than I think. 51 (Self esteem, technology issues and life events are still exactly the same as they were before, though.)
