in the 2 months and a half since joining PsychCentral, this is YUUUGE!
![]() I feel much more in control of my life, I'm happy all the time and I feel so well in my skin. There is still work to do, in regards of 3 mild concerns the Sanity Score identified but I'm making YUUUGE progress, I'm really proud of myself and I'm inspired to continue work on myself as much if not HARDER than before! We can all do it, I'm the living proof! Here's the detailled report : Your Sanity Score 24 Based upon your answers, you appear to be in good mental health. Congratulations! You may experience specific mental health concerns, relationship issues, or other issues that come up from time to time in your life, but your overall mental health score suggests that you deal with these well. People with similar scores are more resilient than most people, handle stress appropriately, have good relationships with others, and are able to cope with the in's and out's of everyday life with grace and ease. (The Sanity Score is based upon a scientific algorithm with scores ranging from 0 - 288.) Your specific subscores are below (subscales range from 0 - 100). Under the graph of subscores, you will find additional information regarding the meaning of any significant scores or areas that may be of concern. General Coping 0 Life Events 31 Depression 0 Anxiety 0 Phobias 0 Self-Esteem 0 Eating Disorders 0 Schizophrenia 0 Dissociation 17 Mania 35 Sexual Issues 0 Relationship Issues 0 Alcohol 0 Drugs 0 Physical Issues 17 Smoking Issues 0 Gambling Issues 0 Technology Issues 19 Obsessions/Compulsions 25 Posttraumatic Stress 8 Borderline Traits 4 Your BMI: Not calculated Your body mass index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women. BMI correlates with body fat. The relation between fatness and BMI differs with age and gender. For example, women are more likely to have a higher percent of body fat than men for the same BMI. On average, older people may have more body fat than younger adults with the same BMI. Your BMI: You may be: Below 18.5 Underweight 18.5 - 24.9 Normal 25.0 - 29.9 Overweight 30.0 and Above Obese Life Events: You're experiencing events in your life that may be negatively affecting your overall mental health and your ability to cope with other things in your life. This may also affect your mood. Mania & Bipolar Disorder: People with scores similar to yours often complain of symptoms commonly associated with bipolar disorder (also known as manic-depression), or a minor form of bipolar disorder (called bipolar II). Bipolar disorder is characterized by a swing in moods from depression to mania (having racing thoughts, an excess of energy, inability to maintain attention, etc.). Bipolar disorder at this level may interfere with a person's normal, everyday life and sometimes impair functioning in social relationships, work, school, and other areas of one's life. You can learn more about the symptoms and types of bipolar disorder here. People who report similar levels of bipolar symptoms may benefit from professional treatment for their concern through a combination of psychotherapy and medication. Obsessions & Compulsions: People with scores similar to yours are sometimes diagnosed with an obsessive-compulsive disorder or have obsessions or compulsions that affect a person's life from time to time. You can view symptoms and treatment options for this disorder. This is not a diagnosis, or a recommendation for treatment. Many people who have similar scores live with these occasional obsessions or compulsions fairly well and do not seek additional treatment for them. However, you may want to consider seeking out assistance from a mental health professional if you find these obsessions or compulsions overwhelming or significantly interferring with your life. You have 3 milder concerns that we've identified. Such concerns may be a part of an ordinary person's usual up's and down's in life. However, if any of these issues cause you worry or concern, please consult with your physician or a mental health professional for further information. I still think too much of my past, I did a lot of progress but I gotta move on from my past relationships completly, not 80%, completly! I still have a ADD but I was expecting it would take time to heal. I still spend too much time on Internet and when it's time to eat, I always take 5 minutes to stop doing whatever I'm doing. My discipline is not completly how I'd want it to be. If I have to stop playing video games at 10:30 tonight but am 15 minutes away from finishing a dungeon in a Zelda game, I will play the remaining 15 minutes. Sometimes an hour. My time management is not so good, I need to work on that. I belive my ADD will diminish when my time management is better and I am less obliged to multi-task and rush things because I procrastinated and got into trouble. I get too comfortable. And that's what I will do, I'm determined! ![]() |
