I didn't know about this sanity test so that's pretty cool, I am currently 2 months and about a week in on 20mg of Paxil so this will be a cool tool to track my progress. Some of the results are a bit off though, I feel like my anxiety has gotten better with my depression getting worse on some days but according to this my anxiety is worse than my current depression. I don't know, I am confused about how I feel a lot of the time so maybe this is a more accurate representation of my current state. Since starting Paxil I have switched a lot between super happy/energetic, depressed/irritable and just plain ol' normal so I probably just need to give my body more time to adjust. I was hoping 8 weeks would have helped me level off but I'll give it another 4 weeks to see what happens.

5 serious concerns
General coping: 64
Anxiety: 78
Self-esteem: 100
Mania & Bipolar disorder: 55
Smoking issues: 63

10 milder concerns:
Life events: 38
Depression: 41
Phobias: 50
Eating disorders: 40
Relationship issues: 38
Alcohol: 25
Technology issues: 44 (I work in IT so...)
Obsessions/Compulsions: 50
Posttraumatic Stress: 42
Borderline traits: 46

Would the results of this test be useful to go over with my therapist? I have an appointment with her this coming Thursday

Hello boldchexmix: Well... since I'm replying to your post on Friday, you've presumably seen your therapist. I haven't taken the Sanity Score test in quite a while now. When I did, I felt it made me out to be doing better than I felt I was at the time.

From my perspective, I think on-line tests in general are mostly just "food for thought", so to speak. I think we can take them too seriously. Did you share your scores with your T? I don't know how much interest she would be likely to take in them. But it certainly couldn't hurt to share them I wouldn't think.
