The score I got said I have an issue with life events. I had a friendship fall apart and it's hurting me. I have trust problems now and I'm very insecure about pursing friendships, even though I have a great need for friends. Does anyone have a similar experience?

Me! A failed friendship was the final straw that sent me to therapy. I was already dealing with anxiety and PTSD. The loss of the friendship was like a death for me. I blamed myself for everything, couldn't trust anyone, couldn't trust myself. It was really rough for a while and I had a lot of days where I couldn't stop crying. Things have gotten so much better the last few months though. The therapist really helped me see the patterns in my life that were self destructive, especially the patterns of my friendships. Now that I recognize what I had been doing, I feel a lot more comfortable in my ability to recognize those people who will hurt me, so it's easier for me to trust my own judgment again.
