So send clarity please? I'm going to the doctors tomorrow look in about my physical health and why it is changing. Could this have anything to do with it? Should I just started with going back to the counselor type? Or see my primary doctor first.

Hello Critecme: Well... I guess I don't really know about this. I know, in my own case, where my physical / medical problems start & my mental health problems stop is a mystery to me. It all seems to be something of a jumbled mess. My response to that is to simply not see my medical doctor unless there's something specific I can point to that I think is a problem.

If what I'm experiencing is just some amorphous feeling that something's not right, I just chalk it up to anxiety, depression or whatever & let it go. On the other hand, it certainly doesn't hurt to get things checked out medically too. Seeing a counselor / therapist can also be a good idea since you seem to have a number of mental health related things going on. I personally don't see this as an either / or sort of thing, but more as being two parallel tracks, if that makes any sense.

I see this is your first post here on PC. So... to PsychCentral… from the Skeezyks! May the time you spend here be of benefit.

PsychCentral is a great place to get information as well as support for mental health issues. The more you post, & reply to other members’ posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus there are social groups you can join & chat rooms where you’ll be able to connect with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) Lots of great stuff! So please keep posting!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
