I went from 101 to 139 in six months. Can't wait to see what happens in December at this rate. Should probably tell the doctor about the tightness I've been feeling in my chest lately, but eh...what's the worse that could happen?

If this were a sport, I suppose seeing your score go up would be a good thing. Unfortunately, in this instance, it's not. Here's hoping your score will be lower come December.

I was feeling some pains around both the back & front of my chest a few days ago. I wondered if perhaps I was feeling the approach of the grim reaper! (I also have cardiac arrhythmia.) I decided not to get excited about it though. And by the next day or so it was gone. If the tightness you're experiencing continues, though, please do see your doctor.

Making decisions with regard to whether or not to seek medical treatment is something I struggle with too. I'm due for a 3rd colonoscopy & I'm doing a terrific job of putting it off. I also sometimes say to myself: what's the worst that could happen? But what we typically think of, when we say that, is not really the worst that could happen. The worst that could happen is that a serious medical problem would result in us ending up in the hospital undergoing intensive medical treatment. Treatment that could have been avoided had we sought medical care sooner. At least that is my thinking on the subject. So now all I have to do is convince myself this is a good reason to pick up the phone...

Well, I have an appointment to see the PA tomorrow, so I could probably bring up the tightness in my chest, but I've been trying to focus on the new little doggo to keep my mind occupied. I'll have to post some photos of her soon.
