I scored 142 on the overall sanity test, so I decided to do some follow-up quizzes. I ended up at high-risk for OCD, severe depression, and moderate anxiety, with possible early signs of schizophrenia. I'm not sure how accurate these tests are, and I can't afford to seek professional help...
Anyone know of any cheap options? |

Remember that these tests are mostly just an indication, the only way to know for sure is to seek out professional help.. I'm sorry you can't afford it.

Hello FloboeFJ: I noticed this is your first post here on PC. Welcome to PsychCentral!
![]() ![]() I'm sorry taking these tests has left you with so much uncertainty & confusion. This is, of course, the down side of these sorts of things. They can cause a person all sorts of anxiety & confusion with no way of figuring out what's truly going on. ![]() You asked about cheap options. My only thought would be to see if there are some free or income-adjusted mental health services that are available where you live. If there is a local mental health association office (NAMI) in your area, they might be a resource for you. You might also try calling your state's or county's department of human services offices too. These are the types of places that may know of low or no-cost mental health services that may be available. Here's a link to an article, from PsychCentral's archives, that offers advice on what to do when you can't afford therapy: What to Do When You Can't Afford Therapy Continuing to post & reply to other members' posts, here on PC, may be helpful too. So please keep posting. Best wishes... ![]()
