Has anyone ever experienced lowered inhibitions on Effexor or other SSRN's? I started taking it about 8 months ago for depression and anxiety and I ended up having a marital affair. I know it wasn't the only cause, but I never had these types of desires or thoughts before taking the medicine. I used to take Lexapro, and it never made me feel promiscuous or desiring of an affair. Now, I am weaning myself off it slowly, but I really feel like my personality was altered in a negative way.
