I've been on Cymbalta for years, 120 mg. for several months. Pdoc and I decided I am going to try without an antidepressant. Does anyone know what kind of effects I should watch for with the doing away with the Cymbalta. I am going off of it slowly so hoping for no effects but just in case...

Thanks, lindee

I weaned off of it abiout 9 months ago. You need to take it slowly and step down as you feel comfortable. I experienced "brain zaps" wich are kinda like little shock wave feelings in your head. It doesn't hurt, they are more annoying than anything. I also had days were I felt so tired and down right crappy that I just spent the day on the couch. Remember.... this was my experience... yours may be much better. You can do it. I'm pulling for you!
Thanks for this!
