My psych nurse offered Nuvigil to me today because I've been sleeping so much and having trouble waking up in the mornings.

But I can't take the pill until I wake up - so how does it help me wake up? It just helps me STAY awake after I get myself out of bed, correct?

What if this has nothing to do with a medical/physical reason, but it is just sheer laziness? Will the pill do anything to motivate me to get my butt out of bed and just DO something?

Do you know of any good/bad side effects of this drug? Would you consider taking it?
