I started paxil on Tuesday. That day, I noticed that it gave me a headache. The pain isn't severe yet, but I'm worried it will become worse as my body is getting used to the paxil. My question is, is it ok to take Tylenol w/codeine while taking paxil? The pdoc said any side effects should go away in a couple weeks, but I don't know if the headaches will get worse by then.

From everything I have read, it should be fine, although you might notice you are sleepier than normal.

Please do me one favor? USE SPARINGLY... as i was addicted to codeine once and it is HELL to break that addiction. Used correctly and sparingly though you should be fine. Im not a doc though, so if you want to know doubly sure maybe ask your chemist!
Thanks for this!

Thank you I only use the codeine for my very worst headaches, so probably only once a month, twice at the most. Every other headache I just take Excedrin.
