Has anyone here ever taken one of the emergency contraceptives out there? My girlfriend and I had an accident with a condom this morning and it's really freaking me out.

Go here: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/pp2...traception.xml

The doses listed are taken twice 12 hours apart. You must have a doctor write you the prescription. Emergency Rooms/ walk-in clinics may be able to do this. Better call and check if they're willing first.

It's poos for feeling a bit sick, but there isn't too much big deal to it ...

We are lucky, we can get it OTC (or technically behind-the-counter as a pharmacist must dispense) in New Zealand.

Hope it's all ok!
