Okay... My question is.. will this side affect of drowsiness go away? and about how long?

I used to take Cymbalta and I didn't even get drowsy and sleepy the last time. Which was less than a year ago. But this time I'm having trouble even staying awake more than a few hours at a time.

I'm on Cymbalta 60mg and it did make me drowsy a bit in the beginning. But I take mine at night sometimes an hour or more before I go to bed so it hasn't been an issue. I don't find I'm drowsy from it anymore and if I remember correctly (hah...fat chance of that happening LOL) but I think it took a couple weeks before the drowsies went away.

If it continues to be a problem.....can you take it before bedtime?

Good luck!
Thanks for this!

Okay. Thank you ^_^
I will start taking it an hour before bed. Right now i've just been taking it in the 3-4pm time area. I'm on 60 right now.

^_^ Thank you

Your sleepiness may be related to other factors since it didn't make you sleepy before. Like, how good and long is your rest at night? Your pillow, sounds, mattress, thoughts before bed. I make a list of all the nice moments, a bird song, a could a smile, someone caring, before I go to sleep and it makes a big difference. Also if you sleep iwth somehting that has iconic power for you, something you can hold onto to protect you. thatl's been a big helop tome,.
