I talked to my pdoc about switching me to this today and he said to wait until next time because we were already switching one med.
Pristiq is the same med as Effexor but better is what he told me. I have been on Effexor and it has worked for me in the past but it has been so long I can't remember any side effects, sorry. Jan __________________ I appreciate long walks especially when taken by people who annoy me. Noel Coward |

I take 150 mg. Seems to work fine. No side effects that I can tell.

Prestiq is the "new and improved" Effexor, the second generation Effexor that doesn't have some of the unwanted side effects, one of the major ones being difficulty titering down when going off of it. It's been out a little less than a year, I think?
