I started the abilify taper this week. I have gone from a low dose of 5 mg. to 2.5 mg and am experiencing the following:
Stiff muscles Jerky muscle movements---involuntary Insomnia Has anyone else experienced these effects of coming off of this drug? Thanks for reading. Sending good thoughts your way. phoenix47

Just wanted to let you know I've come off this drug with no side effects, but I usually don't get side effects. And I was coming off of 30mg! I know, I'm lucky. Sorry you're experiencing these horrible side effects and I hope it passes soon.

Can you call your Pdoc and explain what is happening? Maybe she/he can give you something that will ease the effects, or even take you down slower so the effects aren't so bad.
