I happend to take one more tablet for no reason. Just felt like it was something I need. Now I want more and more! The thing is I don't hate it or like it so there is no problem?

What you're describing is in the realm of obsession (the thinking part) and compulsion (the doing part).

It's hard to tell, but the fact that you called it paracetamol (rather than acetominophen) suggests you're in Great Britain? Is it hard to obtain counselling and support for OCD?

OCD stands for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Larry is saying you're taking pills just to be taking them, when u dont have a headache or anything that needs to be treated, that you are thinking about taking pills alot (thats the obsessing part), and then when you take a pill, or 2. or 3, thats the compulsion - acting or doing part. Taking the med you are taking, just because you "feel like it", is harmful to your health. I am glad that you are going to start therapy soon, and I hope it helps you ! You have posted in many areas of the forum, and it seems that you are young, and feeling pretty sad alot of the time. Good luck !!

It's not craziness. What you're describing sounds like it's affecting your enjoyment of life. It's impacting on your comfort. (It's also putting your liver at risk, as paracetamol is toxic if abused.) So, now that you've identified this area of your life as being affected, it lets you focus on finding ways to become more comfortable. If you have therapy coming soon, you've already got one topic to talk about.
