Benadryl? I think it will help with sleep, because it always makes me sleepy. I'm not sure what it may do for anxiety, as it always just makes me fall asleep.

Panic attacks no, I think they can make them worse.

Sleep yes, but you can build a tolerance quick.

Please don't tell me that we had that conversation,

Aahh, the night is calling, and it whispers to me softly,
"Come and play". Aahh, I am falling, and if I let myself go
I'm the only one to blame.

I'm safe, up high, nothing can touch me, but why do I feel
this party's over?
No pain, inside, you're like perfection, but how do I feel
this good sober?"

It doesn't help me sleep a bit. But then with me nothing much does.

Thanks.

I never had problems sleeping until menopause. Now I will take a pill that knocks other people out for hours and I will get two or three hours sleep. If I get four hours sleep I feel decent.

The last time I went to see my psychiatrist he gave me two new sleep meds and said to try them in different combination with the other two sleep meds I already take. (I am a critical care nurse so he knows I know how to titrate meds, I'm not going to do anything crazy with the pills) So of the four meds I could take one pill each of two of them and one or two pills of the other two meds. So I took one pill each of all four meds. I slept. I slept for twelve hours. My son came and asked me if I was okay. I said, Mommy is sleeeeepy right now. That was the best night of sleep I have had in five years LOL.

it can definitely help sleep if not used all of the time. uncertain as to what it can do for panic except make one drowsy. Good Luck. Sending good thoughts.
