I have been taking clozapine since summer 2007 for bipolar. A few times I have not refilled the Rx promptly and got manic as a result (you may have seen some of my manic posting in the past week).
When restarting the drug it seems to have a stronger sedative effect on me than when I am consistently using it. This week off the med I was sleeping about three hours/night. After restarting I slept ~ ten hours/night and have had increased fatigue during waking hours. Has anybody else experienced anything similar with this medication?
