I've been depressed for three years now I'm taking an anti-depressant called Prozack it really does help a lot. Take one a day but does anyone know what the side affects are? Also I'm a teenager taking drugs for my illness!

i took prozac for over 10 yrs.......i successfully weaned myself off of them 6 months ago.....the major side effects for me were.....wt gain..........lack of sex drive and a very "i don't give a @#%# attitude

But since I've been at sencondly I have had a don't give a **** attitude. Sometimes people can trigger me off, but mainly it's me who can't figure what I am doing wrong? meh

Thanks for saying the truth about what it does, I thought it only makes you happy and thats it? Would it blank out any suicidal thoughts though? Not that I am going to go! Prozack
