I understand, I too am diabetic and the weight gain is so easy to happen and I am trying to lose and or maintain my current obese stature, but I think if you let the doc know of your concern and bring in your diabetic meds and let them know your fears and condition pdoc is a medical doctor as well and may be able to find a suitable medication that would not cause weight gain and not interfere with your diabetes and help you get up and going again....take care and good luck..kk101

Hi, I'm sure with all the new meds out they should be able to find a combination that will work for you, even with the insulins. Make sure to tell your doctor that you are worried about the weight gain the other meds caused (they're use to hearing that I'm sure). The main thing is to be honest with the pdoc or they won't have a clue of what your concerns are. Good luck and hugs!
