Hello! Is anyone on a low dose of Lamictal? I can only seem to tolerate 50 mg. I was on hormonal birth control before, so that means I was really prob. getting around 25-30 mg. I've since had to go off the bc because of side effects with the lamictal interaction (girl problems). I've stuck with the 50 mg. and I can't tell if I need to go up...hm. I do have a lower body weight. When I asked doc about it, he said he had other people on that low of a dosage. So I was just wondering =)

If i take more than 50 mg, i'm so sleepy I can't stand it.

I am on 150mg but at one time I was on 50mg. That was so it could be upped slowly. If you feel that the drug is working at 50mg it shouldn't matter. But if it isn't working, then talk to your pdoc about switching to a med you can better tolerate.

If it's working on 50 it's working at 50. I wouldn't worry about it. Personally I had to take 375mg, but it really is different for each person.
