Hi feary -- sorry to hear about your anxiety, I certainly had that and know how it can feel. I was an inpatient with very bad anxiety and the psychiatrist raised my Celexa from 40 to 60 mg. He said it should alleviate the anxiety and it did!
I don't know if an increase would help you like it did for me, as everyone reacts differently to the meds. I hope things get better for you soon. Anxiety makes everything harder. |

Well, I was taking 40 mg regularly and then for the past 7 days by mistake I took 20 mg instead without knowing but just assuming it was my 40 mg tablets.
I have experienced such horrible anxiety and hopelessness the past 7 days on the mistaken 20 mg whereas I was doing quite well on the 40 I just realized this today. I also have severe PMDD it seems and I just started my monthly. SO, do you think the sudden change from 40 to 20 contributed to my resurge of anxiety? |

Absolutely, cutting your dose in half would definitely affect your mood and anxiety level.
