For those who are or have taken Abilify, do you take it in the morning, or at bedtime, and why?

I'm curious because I'm thinking about switching to Abilify and I'd like to know how others favor taking their dosage.

Even though I've not even started yet, I'd probably take it at bedtime, because I've read something where it states that you can sleep though some side effects (of medications) that way, plus I like taking most of my pills at bedtime when I can.

What about you?

How do you take Abilify?

I take mine in the morning. I have a very small dose, 2.5mg. I believe the reason for me taking it in the morning is that is when I take my Cymbalta. I've been on the Abilify since May 2010, and it has made a huge difference in my mood. I hope that if you do go on it, you will have good benefits from it.

My pdocs have always said it was stimulating so you should take it in the AM.

I take it in the evening with all my other meds as I tend to forget to take them, but if I am taking them all at bedtime I remember !

I take mine in the morning because it stops me from sleeping at night.

I started taking it at night, but it seemed to keep me up so I now take it in the morning.

Wish I would have read this before I took my first dose last night. Wow, IMPOSSIBLE to sleep. From here on in, I'll be taking it in the morning.

I take mine at night with my other meds, but I take a sleep aid so I don't know if affects my sleep cycle. It has made a huge difference for me. I used to have rages and mixed states. Now I seldom get angry, don't raise my voice when I do, and the mixed states are much milder.
