Hi there, first time poster.
Been recently put on Serquel now for about a week or so (alongside my long-term Mirtazapine). The reason the psyc added in Serquel was to help me sleep but it's not doing anything. The most annoying thing is I can't seem to remember the day before and have to let other people fill me in. I hold down a very stressful job and I was told this would take the edge of it but it's doing the opposite - constantly worrying about work, money, and sleep is a big factor (get about 2-3 hours a night). I've tried about 6 AD's to help with anxiety but to no avail and now they're trying me on these anti-psychotics (too long to list). |

Someone else may have some insight, 75 mg seroquel works fine for my sleep. (most times) sometimes I wake up more tired then when I went to bed after11 hours sleep, but the dreams are anxiety related. My sleep has been more of a problem staying asleep. I know most nights I am asleep before the seroquel takes effect, but if I wake up, I now trust I will go back to sleep. I am sure your Dr should have some more ideas on what to expect. Good luck. I am not a big fan of Seroquel but it works for some people. My pdoc increased my seroquel dose every two weeks X 3 and it knocked my butt in the dirt so badly that I could not even walk when on it. I had to crawl back into bed.
