Hello my name is Trevor I'm 33 m and have panic disorder and agoraphobia.
I've suffered for years and finally got a good program with my local hospital and meet with a psychiatrist and a therapist. They got me on Prozac 20ml and Ativan as needed. I'm 17 days in and had a great second week with no attacks or anxious feelings. Yesterday I lost my phone and maybe it was that but I started having anxiety all day and night and today. Just took 2ml of Ativan and I'm kinda calming down. How long for Prozac to kick in and will it make me feel good again?

SSRIs affect everyone differently, but my anxiety actually got worse on Prozac. Definitely tell your doctor about the increased anxiety. It could be that you need a higher dose of Prozac. Or you might need to try a different SSRI or maybe an SNRI (like Cymbalta). The good thing is, if you need to switch, Prozac is like the easiest one to get off of because it stays in your system so long.
