Unfortunate as it is, Zoloft does have one major side effect for most people, if not all. At 200mg a day, which is what I am taking, it can affect your libido.

This is particularly distressing for men, as it therefore affects ones ability to perform.

But I suppose there is nothing for it.

I am taking the Zoloft and when I am taking it, I feel fine. However, if I miss it for one day, I get depressed. So I don't know how I am going to go off the drug eventually, and I think I need to get off it eventually, in order to 'function' again.

Regards,

justaman.

i sympathize.....i've taken ADs that caused my netherlands to become "no man's land".......that is probably one of the biggest complaints about ADs. at least, i hear that more often.

i don't have any advice..as you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. i take wellbutrin now and it has not affected me like prozac and others did.

good luck, pat

I hated and quit Zoloft for the same reasons, and I wasn't even on that high of a dose.

I just switched to Wellbutrin from Celexa earlier this week. I have more energy now and preliminary tests would suggest there aren't the side effects like Zoloft.
