Are there any that don't cost an arm and a leg? I've tried a couple and it really helps my dysthymia but I can't continue that because of the cost.

I think of all the atypicals, risperidone is cheapest because it's available as a generic, or at least it is in Canada. I know drug prices are cheaper up here, but a month's supply of 3 mg tabs which is a pretty high dose, is about $97.

Zyprexa is listed on the Walmart $4 rx list (under "anti-depression"). Since it is on that list, you might find it to be less expensive other places as well.

I didn't know zyprexa had a generic. That's the main problem; too many don't have a generic so insurance won't help.
