My pdoc has had me on zoloft for over a month for depression and it's not doing anything...he added clonazepam today. I've been reading about it and it's for anxitity...which I didn't have until the zoloft but he says its supposed to help me sleep. I haven't sleep a whole night in a few years but I'm more afraid of what the combo will do. Should I or shouldn't I...HELP!

Relax about clonazapam. It is one of the more benign sleep aids, although it shouldn't be used long term. It has sedative properties. I'm on clonazapam in combination with a couple of anti-d's and it's fine.

I also use Clonazepam as needed. It's fine and helps me a lot to sleep, else to just get through the day when I feel anxious
