I was on provigil for ~3 months. I really had a hard time with it. Lots of "noise" and tension.

I felt much better off of it.

My psychiatrist has also told me that several of his patients have reported the same thing.

I was on Provigil for a good while. Nuvigil is evidently an updated version. My husband is taking it, and I just started it a month or so ago, since Tegretol is really making me tired. I haven't noticed anything bad....Just don't take it too close to bedtime, since its goal is to provide more energy and perk the person up. My understanding is that people like long-distance truck drivers have taken it.

I've been taking Nuvigil for the last couple of months or so. I find it extremely helpful in keeping me awake without making me jittery, anxious, or unable to sleep. It has worked wonders for me. But everyone's reaction is different.

I'm taking Nuvigil for focus and concentration while working the overnight shift. I'm only on day 2, but I have been all over the place! Laughing and crying at the same time, very, very hard to sleep. Did it take long to adjust to it? Maybe I need to take half a pill?

I didn't notice any adjustment problems. I suggest you tell your doc. Maybe you need a lower dose and need to adjust the time you're taking it....Could you have a bipolar problem, anyway?

No bi-polar, MDD, GAD, and PTSD. I'm very sensitive to meds in the beginning for some reason and I have a whole lot going on right now that might be contributing to all this. Thanks for the reply!
