Hi guys,

I'm on Lamictal (50mg) and in all honesty, while I'm doing better than I was before meds, I still feel a bit all over the place, so I was thinking about calling my pdoc to ask if we could raise the Lamictal and/or add something else. How exactly do I go about doing that?

Call the dr and tell them exactly what you posted. I've told my dr I thought i needed more of a med and she's been very accepting. The dr may tell you that you need more time for what you're taking to kick in but I think it's definitely worth a shot.
Good luck!
Thanks for this!

You just call and ask. 50mg is a very low dose of lamictal, so I would think your pdoc has plans to eventually increase the dose anyway.

He said he was going to keep me there unless something changed...so no...unless eventually means 3 months down the road (when I next see him).

If you aren't seeing him for 3 months, why not call as others have suggested and see if you can't get a med change now.

I said in my OP that I was thinking about calling...

The main problem is, I have absolutely no idea what to say, and that's a huge problem (phone anxiety).
