Did you ever decide to switch from SSRI's to SNRI's? How many SSRI's did you try and why did you decide to switch?

I am not supposed to take SSRIs because I took one and it led to a lot of suicidal ideation. I may switch to SNRIs in the future, but it is important to remember that they apparently act just like SSRIs in the beginning until they actually start working with the norepinephrine. So for me, I am on a mood stabilizer so that if I do add an SNRI, apparently I won't have that effect.
