I am wondering if anyone has the experience of IMMEDIATELY feeling a SSRI after taking it. I have only tried Zoloft generic sertraline at 25mg. Two years ago I took it for 8 weeks and finally stopped cold turkey due to the zombie like affects it had on me. I just recently tried it (the last two days...same dose, 25 mg in morning) and same deal. I feel it right away!!! Almost feels like a recreational drug!

Today decided not to take any more and try a diffrent route (SJW, yoga or anything).

I can almost feel the med the second I take it and I'll say I do feel to some extent better but also high. No hallucinations just general happiness BUT nausea is bad, my legs at night are all fidgity and wake after a couple hours, ringing in ears, clenchy jaw, overall numb. Better the being fixated on the trauma/depression episode I was going through I guess but then again WEIRD. I tried lexapro at a low dose two different times and that DID give me near hallucinations, clenched jaw, perma smile...acid trip!!! So does anyone know what's up or have a similar deal? Wellbutrin also after one low dose I felt it as soon as I took it.

Just wondering if any similar experiences or if someone knows what this may say about my actual brain chemistry. Am I just totally deplete of seratonin and have been my whole life so when I take a med I am really sensitive??
