Because of a seizure history, my psychiatrist would like to keep my Clozaril dose as low as possible.
I've had side effects on other antipsychotics: Seroquel, Risperdal, Saphris, Invega, Geodon, Abilify I'm allergic to the medication Thorazine. I'm wondering if it's possible to be able to take Clozaril and Zyprexa together to help control my symptoms of Schizoaffective Disorder - Bipolar Subtype? (See Sig for current medications) Thanks, Andy |

My best resource for this would be to check first with my pharmacist; ask if the doc prescribed this and with what currently taking, would it be ok and if these two meds can be taken together. They can be really helpful in at least letting you know this part. As far as treating symptoms, talk to your providers and do other research online to see if other have had relief with this combination, until others post below their experiences. Wishing you luck in your research and in finding what combo is right for you!!!
