My pdoc put me on a new antipsychotic for my bipolar. Latuda is very new and approved for schizophrenia. Anyone have any experience with this med? I am just trying to do my homework.

I was on Latuda for a while. Although I do not have schizophrenia, I was using it for other things. I was only able to use it at it's lowest dose because if I had a higher dose it would interact with one of my meds. But I thought it was a good med.
Keep us posted on how you are doing.

I would check out http://www.latuda.com. It's a very new atypical antipsychotic that seems to have similar side effect profile as other AS's like Seroquel for example. I'm not that familiar with it because it is so new - that's why I thought posting the official website for it might help you.

Good Luck! Keep us posted!

I was on Latuda for a week but had to go off it because of extremely bad stomach aches that did not subside... other than that it did not help me. But, I was taking it off-label for Tourette's Syndrome, not Schizophrenia.

I am about to start Latuda for my treatment-resistent etc Bipolar I. I have tried the other a.a. drugs to no avail. I am researching but was interested in some real world usage. I'll keep a look out and will let you know my experiences as well as check back. Good luck!
